What a useful case should include
Case studies are most useful when they show the problem, source, site layout, treatment type, openings, access requirements, and before-and-after evidence.
- Noise source, equipment model or process type, and operating condition.
- Baseline noise, target point, receiver distance, and project goal.
- Solution scope: enclosure, doors, louvers, silencers, panels, barriers, or room treatment.
Read dB results carefully
A result value should state where and how it was measured. If the source, load, distance, or background noise changed, the case should explain that change.
Photos need context
Photos help prove that a project exists, but they do not prove performance by themselves. The best cases connect photos with layout, source location, receiver point, and treatment boundary.
