概览
Background noise is one of the most consistently proven barriers to academic performance and reading comprehension. Research consistently shows that learning outcomes drop significantly when ambient noise exceeds 45 dB(A). The HEMU Acoustics Soundproof Study Pod reduces a typical household noise environment (55–65 dB(A)) to below 25 dB(A) inside the pod — quieter than most dedicated library study rooms.
The interior is designed specifically for the ergonomic demands of extended study: a fixed-height desk surface at 750 mm (adjustable to 720–780 mm in 10 mm increments), a full-width cable management shelf for laptop, tablet, and charger routing, and a monitor bracket for optional external display use during online learning.
Lighting is optimised for study: 550-lux dimmable LED panels reproduce a natural daylight spectrum (5000 K) to support alertness during daytime sessions, with a warm 3000 K evening mode for evening study without circadian disruption. A continuous ventilation system (≤ 28 dB(A)) ensures the interior stays fresh during sessions of several hours.
The pod ships flat-pack in two cartons and assembles in 30 minutes. Designed to fit through standard doorways (max panel size 800 mm × 2100 mm). Available in white, grey, and natural oak veneer finishes to suit home and educational interiors.
