概览
Traditional office pods are heavy, expensive to move, and require disassembly for relocation. The HEMU Acoustics Portable Soundproof Booth is designed from the ground up for mobility: four lockable swivel casters enable one person to roll the entire booth to a new location in seconds. No lifting, no screwdrivers, no disruption.
The acoustic panel system achieves 28 dB DS,A speech level reduction using a lightweight honeycomb composite core with mineral wool damping layer. Total weight is approximately 180 kg — roughly half that of conventional panels — without compromising acoustic performance. The modular frame snaps together with quarter-turn locks in under 20 minutes.
At 110 × 110 cm exterior footprint, the booth fits neatly in corridors, beside workstations, and in open-plan breakout areas. Interior dimensions (86 × 86 cm) accommodate a single occupant at a foldable desk with a laptop, phone, and notebook.
The booth meets fire classification B-s1-d0 (EU) and Class A (ASTM E84), suitable for all commercial office and public venue applications. Optional acoustic panels without glass door are available for use as telephone privacy alcoves.

Wheeled Casters for True Portability
Four 75 mm swivel casters with individual locking levers allow one person to roll the assembled booth across any smooth floor. Lock all four to fix position. Casters carry up to 75 kg each, supporting full panel weight without floor protection issues.
28 dB DS,A Lightweight Acoustic Panel
Honeycomb composite core bonded to mineral wool damping layer. Approximately 50% lighter per m² than traditional gypsum-core panels, while achieving 28 dB DS,A speech reduction — verified to EN ISO 23351-1.
Sub-20-Minute Tool-Free Assembly
Quarter-turn bayonet locks connect panels without tools. Frame snaps together in 6 steps. Two people can complete full assembly in under 20 minutes. Disassembly and reassembly follows the same procedure, enabling repeated moves.
Passive Acoustic Ventilation
Integrated acoustic baffled vent slots on top and bottom panels allow natural air circulation without a fan motor. Air exchange rate of ~8 l/s under normal use — sufficient for occupancy sessions up to 30 minutes. Optional motorised vent upgrade for longer sessions.
Compact 110 × 110 cm Footprint
Designed to fit in standard office aisle widths. The 110 cm footprint occupies a single workstation bay. Foldable desk mounts to the interior side wall, freeing floor space when not in use.
Fire-Rated to Commercial Standards
All panel materials carry fire classification B-s1-d0 under EU EN 13501-1 and Class A under ASTM E84. Compatible with all commercial building insurance and fire marshal requirements without additional treatment.
