概要

Open-plan offices increase collaboration but destroy individual focus. The HEMU Acoustics Soundproof Work Pod delivers STC 40 (Rw 40 dB) acoustic isolation — reducing a 65 dB(A) open-floor ambiance to a quiet 25 dB(A) interior — giving occupants the cognitive environment of a private office within a shared workspace.

The interior is designed around a height-adjustable desk (680–1180 mm) accommodating both seated and standing postures, with integrated cable management tray, monitor mount arm bracket, and USB-A/C hub. Continuous low-noise mechanical ventilation (≤ 28 dB(A)) maintains 25 l/s fresh air per occupant for sessions of any length.

Glass panel front wall allows visual connection to the wider office while maintaining acoustic separation. Interior lighting runs at 500 lux via dimmable LED panels, matching recommended task-lighting standards. The pod connects directly to building power via a single 16 A circuit — no dedicated HVAC connection required.

Flat-pack composite panel construction ships in three cartons. Assembly requires two persons and approximately 45 minutes with supplied cam-lock fittings. Relocatable between floors without tools or specialist trades.
